Winter can be the most fun time of all! Our snowmobile trails link up with others in all directions including a groomed trail across the mighty Lake of the the Woods. Zippel Bay State Park provides cross-country ski trails and snowshoeing along with some fantastic wildlife photographic opportunities.
This is truly FULL SERVICE - NO HASSLE ice fishing. We cater to your every need. From cozy cabins/lodge rooms to a warm track vehicle to heated fishing shacks...you can't go wrong. We bring you to and from a heated ice house in one of our heated bombardiers, we also supply bait, fish cleaning, packaging (License fish packing) and freeze your fish for the trip home. Our houses are roomy, clean, banked and moved often to assure the best chance of pulling in some nice ones.

Reservations this time of year are hard to come by, so get off that fence and swing on up to Lake of the Woods, "The Worlds Best Hard Water Fishery", and experience for yourself what has made our area and community a vacationing "Hot Spot" in the middle of winter.

Winter Campground and RV Park
If any of you with wheel houses that would just like to use them as a sleeping quarters, the Wigwam is now offering spots in our campground and RV park throughout the winter for exactly that. $10 a night for the campground and $15 a night for the RV park locations. These rates are for 2 people, for each additional person that will be staying in the Campground and RV park above the 2 will be $5 per person. For everyone that is bringing up a wheel house this winter to Lake of the Woods and looking for a place to clean up after a few days on the hard water, the Wigwam Resort-low is now offering to EACH OF YOU our shower house to use for a small fee of $5 per person. The Wigwam Resort requires a $100.00 per person deposit for all package plans. If lodging only, the first night, per person in full is accepted. This is not refundable, but with a 30-day notice is transferable within the season. Reservations will be held only 10-days without a deposit. After 10-days, your reservation will be canceled without notification. We do not give refunds for early departures or lesser numbers of people. Please keep this in mind when calling in your reservation. THIS POLICY IS IN EFFECT YEAR-ROUND!
