Charter Boat Fishing
Our 27-foot Sportscrafts and experienced guides are set up with all the equipment you will need to take you on a great fishing adventure. Big Traverse is known for BIG walleyes and lots of them and the best way to access this is one of our high-tech, heavy-duty fiberglass boats. They are equipped with electronics, downriggers as well as hook and line setups.
Our guides track the fish daily and know where they can be found. Each boat holds up to 6 people and a guide. We will pack a lunch for you or fry up part of your catch on a shore lunch or back at the resort in the evening.
If you have yet to have a shore lunch on Lake of the Woods, you're in for a real treat. The Wigwam Resort specially prepares your catch in our famous, lightly breaded mix (which no one but Tom and Nina have the recipe for), our famous shore lunch potatoes (served exclusively at the Wigwam Resort only), beans and bread. Our shore lunch is only prepared for groups of 6 or more, so bring your friends.

The Wigwam Resort requires a $100.00 per person deposit for all package plans. If lodging only, the first night, per person in full is accepted. This is not refundable, but with a 30-day notice is transferable within the season. Reservations will be held only 10-days without a deposit. After 10-days, your reservation will be canceled without notification. We do not give refunds for early departures or lesser numbers of people.
