Area Activities
Summer - When you aren't fishing there are many other things to do in our area during our summer months. Water sports such as tubing, skiing, personal watercraft rentals, canoeing or kayaking up the river can be enjoyed. Several festivals and community events are held throughout the summer just for fun. Other activities such as golfing, swimming, bird watching and simply relaxing are all there for your pleasure.
Winter - When not experiencing "The Worlds Best Hard Water Fishery" (Lake of the Woods), there's plenty to do during this amazing time of year in the heart of northern Minnesota. With hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails, mabey the sleds might be the ticket for you. Or, maybe just a leisurly walk with the snowshoes or cross country skis down one of the many trails nestled in our majestic wood lands. |
