Fishing Report: 6-23

Good afternoon fishermen!

We have glorious sunshine today! There is a 60% chance of showers tomorrow, mostly cloudy on Wednesday, 30% chance of isolated thunder storms on Thursday, and 80 and most cloudy on Friday! These change by the hour, so hopefully when I look tomorrow they will all be sunny and 75!

Fishing Report: We’ve been doing really well! The north end of the lake, Bridges and Knight near the rock, the west bar of Garden, and Little Oak are all doing really well. The fish are transitioning into the mud and the edge of the rocks. Pulling spinners on top of the edges, 10-18 feet of water is productive, and anchored up and jigging with frozen shiners in 26-32 feet of water is as well. The green buoy off of Long Point has been producing, and the green buoy out in front of the Gap in 10-12 feet of water has really been picking up.

BE CAREFUL when driving in the river, the bay and into the Lake. There is a lot of floating debris from the high waters we’ve been having. Keep your eyes on the water, and go slow.

To book your fantastic fishing trip, give us a call at the Wigwam Resort, today!
