Lake of the Woods and the Rainy River load up with a multitude of fish this time of year.  Whether you're looking for the Walleye, Sauger, Perch, Northern Pike or Small Mouth Bass, chances are you'll be able to taste a little of each while fishing just a few fantastic areas very close to the Wigwam.  We are blessed with such a tremendous fishery and we love showing it off to our guests. From September through November - Fall fishing is excellent and can be combined with hunting to make an exceptional adventure. This time of year is also a great time to catch some nice sturgeon.

Charter Boat Fishing

Our 27-foot Sportscrafts and experienced guides are set up with all the equipment you will need to take you on a great fishing adventure. Big Traverse is known for BIG walleyes and lots of them and the best way to access this is one of our high-tech, heavy-duty fiberglass boats. They are equipped with electronics, downriggers as well as hook and line setups. Our guides track the fish daily and know where they can be found. Each boat holds up to 6 people and a guide. We will pack a lunch for you or fry up part of your catch on a shore lunch or back at the resort in the evening.
